The system was designed to facilitate for the improvement of all different cognitive abilities, some of which I stated above. Apart from the fact that all the brain training games within lumosity are based on actual neuroscientific research, one of the best things about lumosity is the fact that all your brain training game results are stored over time. This allows you to track your progress when it comes to improving your memory for example. So you can look back over the last three months, and see that your memory has improved by a certain amount. I really love this feature, as I find it highly motivating to keep on with my training. As I said you don’t have to use a full system like lumosity, but it is gives you a more in depth and more comprehensive resource than most of the other things I’ve found online.
